Ship Building

Latitude Marine was founded by a ship building family. We build custom commercial vessels and yachts in steel and aluminum. We use state of the art welding machines and processes to ensure the highest degree of quality. With our large buildings we can minimize delays caused by weather and ensure efficiency. Our goal is to finish your project on time, in budget, and with the highest degree of quality.

160' Barge - United States Navy

Latitude Marine has completed a barge for the US Navy. It is 160 x 35 and constructed entirely of aluminum. It is a component of an experimental landing craft and thus is equipped with a landing ramp. It is classed ABS and was launched in November 2009.

This order represents the largest for Latitude Marine and has resulted in some exciting changes at our facility. We have erected a new 120 x 80 fabrication shop complete with two gantry cranes. We have installed all new state-of-the-art welding equipment, including an automated panel welder. This project allowed for the addition of 30 new employees.
